Behavior Frontiers has been providing exceptional behavioral services to children with autism and other special needs in the Los Angeles area since 2004. Behavior Frontiers is proud to announce that we are bringing our exceptional applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment program and clinicians to the Temecula/Murietta, California area. We currently provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment services to children in the home, school, or community settings. Our ABA treatment services are designed to help children reduce their problem behaviors and learn appropriate replacement behaviors, such as socialization and communication skills. Families access our ABA treatment services through school district, insurance company, regional center, or private funding.

Training Center: Families located out of our service area can also receive our online ABA training for parents and professionals through Behavior Frontiers Online Training Center.

Regional Center Services

We provide ABA services for children through California Regional Centers. California Regional Centers are nonprofit private corporations that contract with the California Department of Developmental Services to provide or coordinate services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Insurance Company Services

Did you know that recent California law mandates that most health insurance plans cover ABA treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder? Behavior Frontiers has contracts with health plans so that we can provide this medically necessary treatment to children with autism spectrum disorder. Shari Hunter,  M.A., BCBA

Clinical Director, Temecula/Murietta Region

Shari Hunter earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California, and later attended the Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.  She completed her coursework to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at the University of North Texas and became a BCBA in 2013.  Shari began working with individuals with autism and other special needs in 2005, and has provided support in the home, school, and community settings.  She has training and experience using Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Verbal Behavior (VB), Natural Environment Teaching (NET) methods, Alternative Communication, feeding, toilet training, and caregiver training.

At Behavior Frontiers, Shari oversees the treatment programs of those clients served in the South West region of Riverside County (Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee, Perris, Hemet, Beaumont).  She is passionate about providing the highest quality client services, individualized to the client and family for maximum success; and providing quality training and support to staff members.
