Five Reasons to Work at Behavior Frontiers (In Our Employees’ Own Words)

If you work in the ABA field (or are interested in doing so), you know how many options you have for employment. It can be hard to sift through all of the jargon to determine where you actually want to work, put down roots, and build your career. We at Behavior Frontiers are always working toward becoming the best ABA provider in the industry for professional growth. With that in mind, we recently surveyed our employees about their experience working with us, and we were thrilled by the response. So here it is: five reasons you should consider working with Behavior Frontiers, from the perspective of our current employees.

1. We make a difference in the lives of the families we serve
Working in the ABA field is incredibly rewarding. At Behavior Frontiers, we strive for a “family-first” treatment model, to ensure that our clients receive the best service in the industry while including the family in all decision-making. By building a team that includes the parents or caregivers of our clients, we can make certain that our clients are supported 24 hours a day, whether or not we are in the home. This leads to better outcomes, higher levels of client satisfaction, and a more fulfilling work environment for our team members.

“I love working here because we make a big impact in the lives of children, as well as in the life of their family.”

“Great organization with people who truly want to make a positive impact/change in people’s lives.”

2. We understand that our employees are our strongest asset
At Behavior Frontiers, our employees are never just a number on a screen. They are individuals (and professionals) with goals, hopes, and dreams, and we bring that idea with us when we make any decisions that might affect them. With that in mind, we are always adding and modifying benefits to our employees, to ensure that they are able to pursue success, both at work and in their personal lives. This includes benefits such as our Employee Assistance Program (or EAP), which offers counseling, money management training, travel help, and much more, all at no cost to the employee.

“I feel valued by my organization and that drives me to do my best every day.”

“Overall feel like the company cares about its employees and tries to continuously improve environment and services being provided.”

3. We invest in professional growth
Because we understand how important our employees are to our continued success, we provide personal supervision and educational opportunities at all employment levels. Whether this comes in the form of our university partnership program (which allows employees to receive higher education at a significant discount), or the one-on-one supervision aimed at helping employees to achieve their professional goals, our employment strategy is built upon creating the best ABA professionals in the industry. So, when a new position becomes available, we don’t have to look outside of our doors. We can promote from within because we know that we already have the best people for the job working with us.

“I truly love working for this company. It has greatly influenced me to look into BCBA through my grad school program.”

“In all my time in ABA (20+ years), I have never before seen an organization so incredibly focused on staff growth, internal promotions, and continued improvement and development in all areas.”

4. Our BCBAs and supervision staff put employees first
At Behavior Frontiers, we believe good supervisors are the key to happy and fulfilled employees. With that in mind, we always promote and hire the best people to be leaders in our company, and provide ongoing training to ensure that they can handle any challenge that staff supervision may present. Mentorship, not just management, is central to our creation of positive and enjoyable work environments. By creating positive relationships between staff and their supervisors, we can create open lines of communication: open lines which lead to lower staff turnover, and better treatment outcomes for our clients.

“My BCBA here at my office is THE best supervisor I have ever had. She has gone above and beyond any expectation, I've had and helps me any time I ask. No words will ever say how thankful I am to have her as a leader.”

“My immediate supervisor is the best mentor I have ever had and I am so happy with my experience working under them.”

“I love all of my supervisors. And all upper management are professional and operate with integrity.”

5. Our employees enjoy working here!
While professional development, excellent supervision, and above-industry-standard benefits are all great reasons to come work with us, probably the biggest reason is that our employees truly enjoy coming to work every day! They enjoy improving the lives of the children and families they serve, and we enjoy rewarding them for their great work. From frequent staff socials and parties to company-wide photo and art contests, Behavior Frontiers management work hard to ensure that our employees understand the appreciation that we feel for them.

"BF is always seeking ways to improve; they survey their employees annually, provide updates on goals met and areas of growth needed for the following year, and are always looking to continue to grow their team. Management is open to feedback, new ideas, additional committees and initiatives, and all of this while providing true high-quality ABA services in an ethical manner!"

"This is the best company I've ever worked for in over 20 years of practice."

"It has been a pleasure to work with & for Behavior Frontiers!"

"Behavior Frontiers has been amazing to me the past 3 years."

"Behavior Frontiers helped me with academic and professional development."

"I love my job and the people I work with. I think the company is amazing with what we do.”
