Your child is unique and Behavior Frontiers offers individualized treatment plans to help each child to be successful. We offer behavior intervention services in the home, school, and community settings. Our ABA treatment program is customized to help each child learn adaptive skills in all areas of development, such as communication, social, play, cognitive, self-care, and motor skills. Behavior Frontiers uses detailed data collection to track each child’s progress and uses research-based methods to find out why problem behaviors are occurring so that we can reduce those challenging behaviors. We make sure to include your family in all aspects of the treatment and in collaborating with other professionals to help your child reach his/her goals.

Training Center: Families located out of our service area can also receive our online ABA training for parents and professionals through Behavior Frontiers Online Training Center.

Heather Hettinger, M.S., B.C.B.A
Regional Clinical Director
Heather Hettinger is currently attending Cal Southern (PsyD program) pursuing her doctorate in Psychology. She received her Master’s degree in Special Education with a focus in Severe Emotional Disturbances from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. After four years as a Special Education teacher in a classroom setting, she chose to pursue further education in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA). She completed her course work to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at the University of West Florida. Since moving to California, Heather has worked as a Behavior Therapist, Case Manager, and Clinical Supervisor working one-on-one with children with autism and with their families in the home, school, and community settings. Heather is trained in ABA using Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Verbal Behavior (VB), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), and Natural Environment Training (NET) methods. Heather has years of experience working directly with families, regional centers, schools, and insurance companies. Her skill set includes curriculum development, program design, ABA teaching techniques, assessments, and parent and staff training. Heather has dedicated her career to providing the best possible assistance to individuals with special needs.
Diana Betsis, M.A., BCBA
Senior Clinical Director
Diana Betsis received her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Pennsylvania State University in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The following year she received her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Diana has worked with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities. During her graduate studies her work and internships focused on adolescents with severe self-injurious and aggressive behaviors. Diana has worked as a Behavior Therapist and Behavior Supervisor in home, school, and community settings. Diana is an Experienced Clinical Director with a demonstrated history of utilizing ABA with clients with developmental disabilities. Skilled in Adolescent and Early Intervention Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Public Speaking.
Jeffrey Diksa, M.S. BCBA
Associate Clinical Director
Jeffrey Diksa has over 10 years of experience working with people living with autism and other developmental disabilities. Jeffrey began his journey into Applied Behavior Analysis working as a Behavior Specialist Consultant in the Chester-Upland School District, as well as in family homes and in the community. Mr. Diksa then worked for the State of Delaware Division of Developmental Disabilities Services where he oversaw agencies providing community group homes and day programs for adults living with developmental disabilities and acquired traumatic brain disorder. Jeffrey was Board Certified as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in February of 2014 after receiving his Master of Science in Criminology from West Chester University and a Post Master Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Joseph’s university in Philadelphia. He has worked in approved private special education facilities, campus settings for adults not ready to transition into the community. In his current role as Associate Clinical Director Jeffrey works with children with autism and their families in their homes and communities.
