Behavior Frontiers is proud to announce that we are bringing our exceptional applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment program and clinicians to Riverside, California and the surrounding areas. Our professional and highly skilled staff is NOW available to conduct intake assessments with your family to begin the treatment process. Your child is unique and Behavior Frontiers offers individualized treatment plans to help each child to be successful. We offer behavior intervention services in the home, school, and community settings. Our ABA treatment program is customized to help each child learn adaptive skills in all areas of development, such as new communication, social, play, cognitive, self-care, and motor skills. Behavior Frontiers uses detailed data collection to track each child’s progress and uses research-based methods to find out why problem behaviors are occurring so that we can reduce those challenging behaviors. We make sure to include your family in all aspects of the treatment and in collaborating with other professionals to help your child reach his/her goals.

Behavior Frontiers clinical staff members will be available to serve clients in or near the following cities:

Colton, Corona, Eastvale, Fontana, Grand Terrance, Jurupa, Lake Elsinore, La Sierra, Loma Linda, Mira Loma, Moreno Valley, Norco, Ontario, Pomona, Perris, Rancho Cucamunga, Redlands, Riverside, San Bernardino, Upland and Woodcrest.

We are open to extending our range of service to additional areas and to contracting with additional school districts, regional centers, and insurance companies. Please contact our office at 1-888-922-2843 if you do not see your location listed above.

Training Center: Families located out of our service area can also receive our online ABA training for parents and professionals through Behavior Frontiers Online Training Center.

Insurance Company Services

Did you know that recent California law mandates that most health insurance plans cover ABA treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder? Behavior Frontiers has contracts with health plans so that we can provide this medically necessary treatment to children with autism spectrum disorder. School District Services

Behavior Frontiers is also certified by the California Department of Education as a nonpublic agency to provide behavior intervention design (BID) and behavior intervention implementation (BII) to school-aged children with autism and other special needs. A BID staff member is essentially the behavior supervisor who assesses the student’s behavioral needs and who designs a behavior intervention plan for the student. A BII staff member is the equivalent of a behavior instructor who works one-to-one with the student to carry-out the behavior intervention plan. Both staff members are essential for a student to receive effective ABA services.

Carrie Moore, M.A., BCBA
Regional Clinical Director, Orange County, Riverside County, and San Diego County Regions

Carrine Moore, or Carrie, received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s of science degree in educational psychology – marriage and family option from California State University, Long Beach. She completed her course work to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at National University, Los Angeles. She has been a BCBA since March, 2009 and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) since April, 2013. She began working with children with special needs in 2004 and is dedicating to helping families and children with autism and special needs access exceptional services and behavior intervention. Carrie is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) using Discrete Trail Training (DTT), Verbal Behavior (VB), Pivotal Response Training (PRT) and Natural Environmental Teaching (NATs) methods. Carrie offers a variety of superior experience and skills ranging from curriculum development, program design, ABA teaching techniques, assessments, parent and staff training.


Sandy Hernandez, M.S., BCBA
Clinical Director, Riverside Region

Sandy Hernandez is a passionate, resourceful, and goal-oriented professional with a commitment to the development and growth of individuals with autism and other related developmental disorders. She studied at the University of California, Davis earning a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Biology. Sandy pursued her education and earned a Masters of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from California State University, Los Angeles.  Sandy began her ABA career in 2007 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2013.  She has experience in ABA using Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Verbal Behavior (VB), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Functional Communication Training (FCT), and Natural Environment Training (NET) methods.  Her experience includes working with children and adults with autism and other related developmental disorders and with a range of functioning levels. She has supervised ABA services in a variety of settings such as within the home, school, and community. Her strengths include assessments, designing and implementing behavior reduction programs, functional skill acquisition programs, and parent and staff training.

At Behavior Frontiers, Sandy oversees the treatment programs for all clients in the Riverside region.  She is committed to ensuring high quality, evidence-based, individualized programming for each client, and on-going staff training so each individual can meet his or her greatest potential.

Anna Rivera, M.S., BCBA
Associate Clinical Director, Riverside Region

Veronica Rivera earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside.  Veronica continued her studies at California State University, Los Angeles where she earned her Masters of Science degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2014. She earned her Pupil Personnel Service (PPS) Credential in School Counseling in 2018. She began her ABA career in 2004 working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related developmental disabilities. She worked within the public school system for about 10 years supporting and providing evidence based practices based on the principles of ABA to the students and staff she supported.   Veronica is a member of the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA) and California Association for Behavior Analysis (CalABA).

Veronica oversees the treatment programs of those clients served in the Riverside areas. She is dedicated and committed to provide evidence based and high quality services for each of her clients and families she serves.
