What does a typical in-home ABA therapy session look like?

Each session follows a consistent rhythm that blends structured skill-building, play-based activities, and real-world practice, all in your child's natural home environment. Your Behavior Technician works 1:1 directly with your child on individualized goals, from communication and social skills to daily living routines, while keeping things engaging and fun.

How long are in-home ABA therapy sessions?

Session length is based on your child's individualized therapy plan and clinical recommendations. Your BCBA will determine the right number of hours per week to support meaningful, lasting progress. Contact us to get started today!

How is in-home ABA different from center-based therapy?

The main difference is the setting. In-home ABA delivers expert care in your child's natural environment. Center-based ABA takes place in a dedicated facility designed for early learners under age 6, with full-day programming and peer interaction built in. Both deliver the same high-quality, clinician-led care. Contact us today, and we’ll help guide you toward the setting that's the right fit for your child.

Who is in-home ABA therapy right for?

In-home ABA is available for children and young adults up to age 25. It's especially well-suited for older children, families who prefer care in a natural setting, and younger children whose medical needs or behaviors are best supported outside of a center environment.

Will my child still practice social skills with in-home therapy?

Yes. Social skill-building - like sharing, turn-taking, and communication - is incorporated into every session. Siblings and family members are also a great way to practice these skills and can be included in sessions when appropriate. Families can also request a community outing, and if approved, your child's Behavior Technician can join them in real-world settings like the park, doctor’s appointment, or grocery store to practice skills in action.

How will I stay involved in my child’s progress?

Your Behavior Technician will check in with you at the end of every session. You'll also receive real-time progress updates through PrioraCare™ and meet regularly with your BCBA. Caregiver training is a core part of every in-home program, so you're always equipped to support your child's growth between sessions.

Does insurance cover in-home ABA therapy?

We accept most major insurance and Medicaid plans, with partnerships with over 125 providers nationwide. Our team will verify your benefits and guide you through the process from start to finish, so you can focus on what matters most: your child.

Can we switch from in-home to center-based therapy?

Yes! If your child is 6 or under, and you're interested in exploring center-based care, our team can walk you through whether it's a good fit. If yes, we will help make the transition as smooth as possible.
