Speech & Occupational Therapy
For most children with autism, ABA therapy provides all the support they need. But for some, an additional layer of specialized care can make a meaningful difference. At select Behavior Frontiers centers, we partner with licensed Speech and Occupational Therapists to bring support directly into your child's ABA program.

ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy - All Under One Roof
ABA therapy addresses many of the same developmental areas as speech and occupational therapy, including communication, social skills, daily living, and motor skills.
While speech and OT are not a replacement for ABA therapy, they can add an additional layer of therapeutic support, as referred by your child's pediatrician.
If there is a clinical need for speech or OT support, we will guide your family through the process of connecting with one of our licensed partner providers at your center.

How Speech & OT Work Alongside ABA Therapy
Where speech and OT are available, services are delivered directly at the Behavior Frontiers center by our licensed partner providers. This means your child receives both ABA therapy and speech or OT support in a single, familiar environment - with both teams communicating regularly to ensure a consistent, coordinated approach.
Skills are reinforced across both therapies, in the same space, so your family doesn’t have to navigate multiple providers or locations.

No. Speech and occupational therapy are delivered by licensed partner providers, licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs), who come directly to our centers to deliver these services alongside your child’s ABA program.
Not necessarily, and for most children with autism, ABA therapy alone provides all the comprehensive support they need. Speech and OT are recommended only when a child’s needs in these specific areas could benefit from additional support. Your child’s BCBA will identify if additional support is clinically appropriate.
At this time, speech and occupational therapy are available at three Behavior Frontiers centers: our Boston/Chelmsford center in Massachusetts, our Denver/Centennial center in Colorado, and our Dallas/Plano center in Texas. We are continuing to expand availability.
