You're Invited! Grand Opening of Plano Autism Treatment Center

Our newest Autism Treatment Center, located in Plano, TX, will be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration on Sunday, December 4th! This event, which is open to the public, will offer activities, snacks, and fun for the whole family. We are even going to have an appearance from everyone’s favorite Christmas celebrity, Santa Claus! He is taking a break from all the work he is doing this month at the North Pole to read a story to the children and talk to everyone about what they would like for Christmas, in a calm and sensory-friendly environment.

At Behavior Frontiers, we love having fun. Halloween provides a great opportunity for us to do just that! Between our annual costume contest, office decorating contest, and multiple Halloween events for our clients, families and communities, we go all out to celebrate this fun time of year. Celebrate Halloween with Behavior Frontiers!

Halloween can be a great time for children and families. From costume parties to trick-or-treating, this holiday can provide some awesome opportunities for fun and socializing. However, for parents or caregivers of children with autism, it can also be a complicated time, filled with lots of questions: will my child be able to tolerate their costume? If we participate in any events, will there be too much light or noise that will affect my child? Can we all take part in the celebrations together?

With that in mind, we have some ideas for how you can help your child to take part in the celebrations, while minimizing stress for them and for the rest of your family.
