Behavior Frontiers Celebrates the Grand Opening of Our Grosse Pointe Woods Autism Center
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! Behavior Frontiers has officially opened its doors to their 6th ABA therapy center in Michigan, in Grosse Pointe Woods – an important step in expanding access to high-quality early intervention autism care for families across the greater Detroit area.
To celebrate, we kicked off the new year with a sensory-friendly disco party, welcoming families, children, and community members into our newest center for a day filled with movement, connection, and fun.
A Sensory-Friendly New Year’s Celebration to Remember
Our New Year’s grand opening event was designed with intention, creating an environment where children with autism could explore, move, and celebrate in a way that felt comfortable and inclusive.
Families enjoyed a plethora of sensory-friendly activities, including a calming disco dance party, fun giveaways, crafts, snacks, and more! They also had the chance to tour our brand-new center and meet our clinical team to learn more about our personalized ABA therapy programs.
It was a wonderful way to ring in the new year and officially welcome families into our Grosse Pointe Woods autism center.

A New ABA Therapy Center Serving Grosse Pointe Woods & Surrounding Communities
Our Grosse Pointe Woods autism center was thoughtfully designed to support young children with autism under age 6 as they build important, lifelong skills – during the early years when autism care may make the greatest impact. We also offer ABA therapy services for older children and young adults (up to age 25) through our in-home services, designed to meet you where you are.
Each state-of-the-art Behavior Frontiers center provides a welcoming, child-forward, and safe space for children to learn through play, individualized therapy, and group activities with their peers.
What Skills Children Practice at Our Autism Centers
At our Grosse Pointe Woods autism center and all our other Michigan ABA therapy centers, children participate in individualized, play-based programs that support development across everyday life skills, getting them ready for thriving in school and beyond.
ABA therapy supports:
Communication and language skills
Social skills like turn-taking, sharing, and peer interaction
School readiness skills like following instructions, routines, and managing transitions
Daily living skills, such as grooming, feeding, and toilet training
Emotional regulation and expression
Movement and play skills that build imagination, confidence, and connection
All programs are guided by our experienced clinical team, including our licensed Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), tenured supervisors, and passionate Behavior Therapists. Each child’s plan is adjusted continuously based on their progress, measured through our proprietary data platform, PrioraCare.
