There’s nothing quite like starting the holiday season with sensory-friendly fun, warm cocoa, and the joy of connection. This December, Behavior Frontiers brought a festive Cookies & Cocoa Celebration to four of our ABA therapy centers across Minnesota and Texas – including brand new autism centers in Fridley, MN and Plymouth, MN, plus community events in Eagan, MN and at our third and newest autism center in San Antonio, TX.
Families across both states bundled up, braved the winter chill, and joined us for a cozy and festive day filled with sensory-friendly holiday event activities, including raffles, cookie decorating, a hot cocoa bar hosted by Ben & Jerry’s, guided tours of our autism therapy centers, and warm conversations with our clinical team. These events truly captured the spirit of the season – and the heart of our mission to build a world without limits for children with autism.

A Sensory-Friendly Holiday Celebration with Purpose
Our Cookies & Cocoa events were designed to be welcoming, sensory-friendly holiday gatherings where families can relax, explore our centers, and learn more about how ABA therapy supports early childhood development.
Across all four locations, kids and families enjoyed:
- Sensory-friendly cookie decorating stations designed to support hand-eye coordination, focus, and creativity
- A cozy hot cocoa bar served by Ben & Jerry’s, complete with toppings and warm smiles perfect for the chilly day
- Festive holiday giveaways and raffles for both caregivers and children with autism
- Calm sensory break areas for kids who needed a moment to reset
- Meet-and-greets with our experienced clinicians, including BCBAs, center directors, and behavior therapists
- Guided tours of each autism center to help families visualize what ABA therapy can look like day-to-day for their kiddo with autism

Celebrating Growth: New ABA Therapy Centers Expanding Access Across Minnesota and Texas
This year’s Cookies & Cocoa events carried extra meaning as we celebrated the opening of our brand-new ABA therapy centers in Fridley, MN and Plymouth, MN, alongside festive gatherings at our established Eagan, MN location and our third and newest center in San Antonio, TX. While each event offered the same joyful, sensory-friendly holiday activities, families were just as excited to explore the spaces where their children may soon learn, play, and thrive. Across all four centers, parents shared how meaningful it was to finally see high-quality autism support available so close to home.

Each center is thoughtfully designed for early learners up to age 6 – with bright, welcoming treatment rooms, open play areas, a gym-like space for movement, and dedicated sensory spaces.
