Minneapolis Autism Centers Host Sensory Friendly Event with Minnesota Zoo

Behavior Frontiers Autism Center in Edina and Coon Rapids welcomed the Minnesota Zoo for an exciting and educational experience!

Kiddos embarked on a journey filled with ambassador animals, captivating storytelling, and interactive activities that enabled them to explore the wonders of nature in a sensory-friendly environment.

Some highlights included:

Getting up close and personal with an armadillo
Learning about different reptiles and their habitats
Hands-on activities around the importance of animal education and wildlife conservation

Our Edina and Coon Rapids Autism Care Centers are grateful for the Minnesota Zoo for sharing their World of Wildlife program with our kiddos.
