Chesapeake Autism Center Tours Fire Station 3

Families had a wonderful day at Fire Station 3 with the Chesapeake Fire Department for Autism Safety Awareness Day. The firefighters gave an insightful tour of the firehouse rooms and explained the purpose of the various compartments of the fire truck.
Kiddos had a chance to sit in the front of the fire truck like real life firefighters! They enjoyed games using the fire hose to aim at targets and roll the giant fire truck tire.

Fire Station 3 created an environment that was sensory friendly and catered towards the needs of our Chesapeake autism families! A big thank you to the Chesapeake Fire Department for providing such a fun and educational tour!
